A charming cottage in the heart of the village

Libbys Cottage is an integral part of Polperro’s history, situated in the traffic-free Warren area of this delightful harbour village. Built for the Libby family, who were prominent in the village from the 16th century, this well-maintained cottage is a Grade II listed building. Spread over three floors, it has two bedrooms to sleep four and is furnished to a high standard with nautical features. It has exposed stone walls, window seats and a cosy modern fire. There is a small patio garden and allocated parking on the public car park.

Close to the beach, local shops and tea rooms, the cottage is surrounded by smugglers inns such as the Blue Peter which serves excellent pub meals. Stroll through the village to the Polperro Museum and Shell House or see local fishing boats unloading their catch on the quay. There is a small sandy beach and the South West Coast Path runs nearby to Talland Bay. Visit Looe, with its shops and banjo pier, or head down to Fowey which offers a summer festival, boat trips, regattas and many art galleries.
