A characterful stone house with light, spacious rooms and a large gravelled garden

The Wagon House, Tresmeer is an atmospheric stone cottage packed with characterful original features. Enter the property and walk right into the open-plan living space. Marvel at the high beamed ceilings, the oak floorboards, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Relax in the cosy lounge beside an impressive wood-burning fire. Get creative in the country-style kitchen with its statement red brick hearth. Then enjoy meals at the large dining table or in the furnished south-facing garden on sunny days. If it rains, retreat to the garage for a table tennis tournament, take a soak in the freestanding bath in the family bathroom or retire to the three charming bedrooms, one with an en-suite.

Return from a day spent exploring the Cornish countryside to relax in your spacious garden. Fire up the BBQ, pour a glass of something cold and enjoy a peaceful family evening.

The Wagon House is in the little hamlet of Tresmeer, where you’ll find an ancient church and many walking trails to explore. The larger town of Launceston (12 km) is nearby, with all the amenities you’ll need, plus historic buildings to explore, including the remains of an 11th-century Norman Castle. Hop on the steam train to take a scenic ride through the Kensey Valley. Or take a drive to the north Cornwall coast to spend your days learning to surf in Bude (23 km), relaxing in Widemouth Bay (20 km), or discovering the legends at Tintagel (20 km).
