Byre is three miles from Bude with its award-winning sandy beaches, tidal pool and endless surf. The town has plenty of shops, supermarkets and eateries for all budgets. Walkers can explore the Bude Canal with its birds and wildlife, or walk the South West Coastal Path along the scenic Hartland Heritage Coast. Clovelly is a delightful harbour village with steep cobbled streets. Alternatively, spend a day on Lundy Island, reached by the MS Oldenburgh which sails from Bideford Quay.
