One of a trio of barn conversion holiday cottages, Tom exudes history and character from the latched cottage doors and cosy woodburner to the stone Celtic crosses in the garden. The open plan living room is comfortably furnished for four guests to curl up around the open fire and watch TV. Head upstairs to find to two spacious bedrooms (one king-size and one with twin singles) plus a modern bathroom with bath and shower above. You'll find ample kitchen storage and appliances to easily rustle up meals from local produce. Enjoy dining in the garden where a picnic table sits ready on the lawn.
Linger outdoors after dark and enjoy the sounds of nature. Sip wine picked up from the nearby Camel Valley Vineyard and feast on lobster from the National Hatchery at Padstow. Surrounded by lush countryside and fresh air, you'll sleep well at Tom!
Tom is the end of three cottages known as Tom, Dick and Harry which can all be booked for larger groups of up to 15 guests. Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Lavethan near Blisland, there's a pub and community shop within walking distance. The traffic-free Camel Trail starts two miles away at Wenford Bridge. Hire bikes and cycle to Padstow along the Camel Estuary, ride the Bodmin and Wenford Railway or spend the day at Lanhydrock House with its beautiful gardens near Bodmin.
