Make yourself at home in the comfortably furnished sitting room with fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen with its family dining table and bench seat is the hub of the home. There’s a dishwasher and washing machine to make life easy. Four bedrooms (two doubles, one with a double and single bed and one with three singles) provide accommodation for up to ten guests sharing a family bathroom and shower room.
After a day of walking, surfing and sightseeing, the farmhouse welcomes you home. Relax with drinks at the picnic table enjoying the peaceful surroundings before heading out for dinner at the local pub.
The Farmhouse, St Kew Highway is a prime position for exploring the North Cornwall Coast. Pretty Port Isaac (home of TV’s Doc Martin) is six miles away along with Port Gaverne’s sandy beach and the cliff-lined Trebarwith Strand. Tintagel, legendary birthplace of King Arthur, provides an interesting day out with its castle ruins, footbridge and National Trust owned Old Post Office. It’s a popular spot for clifftop walks and birdwatching. Surfers can head to Polzeath (nine miles away) or take the boat across the Camel Estuary from Rock to Padstow, famous for its fish restaurants.
