Mum’s Cottage is part of Cheesewring Farm, a Grade II listed building steeped in the history of the area. Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor, there is no end to the hiking, biking and dog walking routes surrounding the farmland. Walk or drive across the moors to Minions (1.5 km) to find a village shop and tea room or get a drink in Cornwall’s highest pub. From this elevated position, you can see for miles across the Cornish interior. After the sun goes down, turn your eyes to the sky, this area is a Dark Sky Reserve, and the stargazing is stunning.
