Ride the water-powered funicular up the cliff to Lynton and explore the craft shops, museum and extraordinary Town Hall. Walkers can explore the coastal path or ramble over Exmoor with its wild ponies and birds. The barren Valley of Rocks is a must-see along with Porlock Weir and the olde-worlde village and castle at Dunster 19 miles away.
