Set in the grounds of a private estate, Cardwen Farmhouse, Pelynt is a four-bedroom holiday home for eight people. The house dates back to the seventeenth century and you will love the slate floors and original stonework in the walls. While the building might be historic, the décor and fixtures and fittings are totally modern. The kitchen features sleek, black worktops and is fully equipped with all you will need to make meals during your stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining area. When it comes down to relaxing, you are spoilt for choice with two sitting rooms. Of the four bedrooms, one is a king, and the others are doubles. The king bedroom and one of the doubles have en-suite shower rooms and there is also a family bathroom. The grounds of the estate are fabulously landscaped and are a fantastic place to relax.
After a day exploring the surrounding area, relax in the communal garden and enjoy freshly barbecued food in the Cornish evening air.
Cardwen Farmhouse, Pelynt is just three miles from the coast, with beautiful beaches at the lovely towns of Lansallos and Polruan. Walking along Looe to Polperro stretch of the South West Coast Path is a great way to spend a day. The picturesque village of Polperro has a fascinating history and is famous for its smuggling past, which you can discover at the museum on the quayside. With a quiet location and easy access to local attractions, Cardwen Farmhouse is a great place to stay for a holiday in Cornwall.
