Instow is a pretty waterfront community with a beach and passenger ferry across the estuary to the artist haven of Appledore. Bideford is a lively town with shops, restaurants, amenities and regular sailings to Lundy Island aboard the MS Oldenburgh. Westward Ho! with four miles of golden sand and The Big Sheep attraction are ten minutes away.
