It features beach volleyball, surfing, Aquathon, paddleboarding, Frisbee, lifesaving and skateboarding with over 20 live music acts during the three-day event.

Discover the Indian-themed Tagore Festival at Dartington Hall

Another midsummer event is the Indian which celebrates the life and works of Rabindrath Tagore from 20-22 June 2014. Delve into this cultural event which includes music, dance, spirituality and the arts. It includes world-class performances on the theme of a Celebration of Peace to remember the centenary of the start of World War 1.

The quirky Teignmouth Folk Festival includes singing & dancing

If you thought Teignmouth was a sleepy old town, the Teignmouth Folk Festival will make you think again! Taking place from 20-22 June 2014 this lively weekend festival includes a lineup of bands, international musicians and folk dancing on the streets.
