Don't miss Squeeze Belly Alley, the treat shop on Church Hill with its ship's figurehead (aka Mrs Tishell's chemist) and the home of TV's Doc Martin. Enjoy walks with nature along the coast path to Port Gaverne Beach or pretty Port Quin (National Trust). For surfing and watersports, Polzeath and Rock are five miles away. Ride bicycles along the Camel Trail to Bodmin, home of a historic museum and gaol or visit Tintagel (nine miles) with its Old Post Office (National Trust) and castle ruins.
