Peek through the windows of TV’s Doc Martin’s surgery and head down to the harbour which has a sandy beach at low tide. The village is known for its Michelin star restaurants including Nathan Outlaw and the clear waters are beautiful for swimming. Go fishing or rent bicycles and explore the nearby Camel Trail to Padstow or Bodmin. Visit Tintagel with its castle ruins and National Trust’s Old Post Office ten miles away or go surfing on Polzeath Beach six miles away.
